There are 400 new DSP waveforms are available in Omnisphere. Each waveform of wavetable synthesis is now a morphing wavetable. There are also new filter types, an advanced modulation, a new granular synthesis algorithm, over 25 new effects and special features, such as live mode with key splits. In Omnisphere MAC OSX version 2 you can now import your own audio files and use them for sound generation. The interface has also been completely renewed and is now clearer and easier to use.
